Bette Krise

Bette started her accounting career in 1984 at Macdonald Page & Co, a CPA firm, as a Paraprofessional while attending college. She has worked for various companies as a Full Charge Bookkeeper since then.
Bette joined Dirigo in 2005. She is a member of the American Institute of Professional Bookkeepers and passed the exams for the Certified Bookkeeper designation in 2007.
She has enjoyed a lot of volunteer work over the years, with her son’s school, Boy Scouts, MADD, and an animal shelter as well as the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance program with the IRS. She served as an Election Clerk for the City of South Portland and in 1998, was selected to be one of the three volunteers from the South Portland School system to be invited to the annual Volunteer Tea at the Blaine House with Governor King.
Currently, she is over the moon to have just become a grandmother!
