Gail Atkins

Gail joined Dirigo Management Company during the summer of 2011. Gail has an extensive background in real estate development and project management. Gail oversaw the development and construction of seventeen Farmers Home Funded apartment projects in the State of Maine. Her proudest professional accomplishment is the development, construction, and leasing of 100 Middle Street Plaza one of Portland’s premier office complexes. Her real estate development experience required the ability to build consensus among architects, contractors, engineers, lawyers, and bankers. Gail also was a real estate paralegal for four years. While taking time off from the business world to raise her children, Gail volunteered her time at the Cape Elizabeth Schools and St. Bartholomew Catholic Church. Her activities for the church led her to being the office administrator for five years.
Gail obtained a B.A. degree from Catholic University of America in Washington, D.C. and a real estate sales agent license after a brief stint in the commercial brokerage field. At Dirigo, Gail has responsibility for the overall operation of each condominium association in her portfolio, including budget preparation and reporting, maintenance, capital projects, working together with Executive Boards and owners to address various issues, and contracting vendors for the many services required.
